How my obseesion with Lou Dillion, chanel, and others has grown.....my my its been awhile.
Enough of my rubbish, on with it............................................

RIP Alexander Mc Queen

A recognised Genius in his own time...will now always be remembered for his icon works of Art but also for his untimely death.

I have often thought of him as the Tim Burton of Fashion Land....his magic mind will be sorely missed!!

It is easy to see now looking back on old footage and interview clips of this great talent, just how tormented he was...saying in an interview clip from about 10 years ago I watched recently - how he would spend days upon days in isolation and locked in his own home....some would say a tormented artist..to others a very troubled individual.

Whatever the case in his short career and time in the fashion world the impact he made was of tidal wave effect, for which I along with the rest of those interested in the fashion world are grateful for in this almost "by the book" fashion world...he was begining to bring back the excitment and art to fashion.

Hopefully furture designers will follow in these footsteps.... maybe a domino effect I look forward too.

He always took chances pushing what was "acceptable", his fashion was indeed iconic, his shows were indeed that SHOWS, entertaining the audience keeping all on the edge of their seats .....wondering what will be next?????

RIP YOU WILL BE MISSED.
